NWCS Homeschool Openings:

NWCS Homeschool Kindergarten Teacher

The Northwest Christian Homeschool Program is seeking an energetic, motivated professional with a love for children, joy in Christian service and passion for imparting our science, history and writing curriculum while partnering with staff and families through a collaborative teaching dynamic involving both staff and families.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Elementary Teacher certification. Homeschooling experience is a plus.

Currently the teacher in this position serves 6 hours/week for 33-35 Thursdays in the school year preparing for and teaching a Kindergarten class from 9:00am-3:05pm on Thursdays while utilizing three paid preparatory hours /week. Co-Coordinating K-2 activities and learning groups, two annual field trips, participating in two Parent Teacher Conferences, collaborative work with staff, an annual showcase event and Senior Graduation that are scheduled on various weekdays and evenings are required. NWCS Homeschool Elementary Music Teacher

The Northwest Christian Homeschool Program is seeking an energetic, motivated professional with a love for children; joy in Christian service and passion for imparting the needed knowledge and ability for strong music appreciation experiences for our elementary students and their families.

  • The ideal candidate will hold a current Elementary Teacher certification or be a Musician of Music Specialist with experience teaching children K-6.
  • Homeschooling experience is a plus.
  • Currently the teacher in this position teaches 4-5 classes from 9:00-3:05 each Thursday for 32-34 Thursdays in the school year for our K-6th grade students. Elementary classes are 30 minutes long. Currently employment includes one paid preparatory hour /week in addition to 3-4 paid hours each class day.

NWCS Homeschool Literature Teacher

The Northwest Christian Homeschool Program is seeking an energetic, motivated professional with a love for student development, joy in Christian service and passion for imparting the great ideas of literature to 7-12th grade students while partnering with staff and families through a collaborative teaching dynamic involving both staff and families.

The ideal candidate will hold a current English Teacher certification. Homeschooling experience is a plus.

  • Currently the teacher in this position serves 6-9 hours/week for 33-35 Thursdays in the school year preparing for and teaching 2 classes; a junior high and a high school literature class between the hours of 8:00-3:10 on Thursdays. Participation in two Parent Teacher Conferences, collaborative work with staff, an annual showcase event and Senior Graduation that are scheduled on various weekdays and evenings are required.

The Northwest Christian Homeschool Program is seeking an energetic, motivated professional with a love for children, joy in Christian service and passion for imparting the needed knowledge and ability for life long fitness to children and their families.

  • The ideal candidate will hold a current PE Teacher certification or be a qualified Physical Education/Fitness Specialist. Homeschooling experience is a plus.
  • Currently the teacher in this position serves 6 hours/week for 32-34 Thursdays in the school year preparing for and teaching four Elementary classes and one Secondary class from 9:30-2:30 on Thursdays while utilizing one paid preparatory hour /week.
  • Coordinating an annual Field Day event, participating in two Parent Teacher Conferences, an annual showcase event and Senior Graduation that are scheduled on various weekdays and evenings are required.

Bus Drivers

NWCS is currently accepting applications for regular route, after school sports and part-time bus drivers. Starting pay is $11/hour and hours will vary. Applicants must have current CDL with school bus endorsement and current First Aid/CPR cards.
