Up first, on Friday, January 17th, is the Annual “Battle for the Holy Grail” – a heated rivalry game between 2B powers Northwest Christian Schools and Saint George’s School. Bragging rights are on the line in this small-school rivalry. It’s a fun night as students vie for points for their school – playing such games as human foosball, blind musical chairs and dance-offs! Oh, by the way, be ready, it will be loud!
The Crusaders are going to battle in their competitor’s gym, since the games are going to be held at St. George’s School at 2929 W Waikiki Road, Spokane. The girls’ game starts at 6:00 p.m. with the boys’ game following at approximately 7:30 p.m. The real winners will be the charity both groups of students will support, Generation Alive’s “Something to Eat” Campaign. It is a crisis response meal packaging program that provides low-cost nutritional meals to people in poverty.
