The Home School Club (Available to grades K-12)
|
The Home School Club is a weekly enrichment day of classes and activities for home schooled students. Certified Christian teachers with home school background, focus on hands-on active learning. Middle school and high school students may receive transcript credits for these classes when combined with Grades and Transcript Program. Parents are welcome to stay or to go and get other things done!

Grades and Transcript Program
|

Students in this program receive an accredited transcript and distance learning diploma from NWCS. Record keeping help is provided. Parents have access to teachers with home school experience for help with planning and curriculum choices. Students may participate in NWC sports, chapel, school and social activities. A home school graduation is held at the Colbert Campus for seniors.

Distance Learning Classes (Available to grades 3-12)
|
Distance Learning classes are offered for students who wish to connect to the accountability of certified teachers. Classes are taken via the internet from a personalized, interactive curriculum. Lesson plans and grades are prepared by the teacher and report cards are issued every quarter. Communication between student and teacher is continuous through a messaging system.
Students who are enrolled in the Home School Program are considered students of NWCS. Those enrolled in Distance Learning and the Grades and Transcript program are welcome to participate in school activities such as

Athletics
Soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, basketball, baseball, softball, track & field and cross-country. A sports fee is required.

Access to Yearly Testing
Middle school and high school students enrolled in Distance Learning or Grades and Transcripts program receive graduation credit for these classes. Students have the option to attend NWCS full-time as a senior for a NWC diploma. If the student is not full-time as a senior, they may earn a NWCS Distance Learning diploma.
