Northwest Christian Schools Theater Department is pleased to announce two upcoming productions.

The first production will feature NWCS High School students in Arsenic & Old Lace, a non-musical comedy revolving around the Brewster family, descended from the “Mayflower,” but now composed of insane maniacs. The hero, Mortimer Brewster, is a drama critic who must deal with his crazy, homicidal family and local police in Brooklyn, New York as he debates whether to go through with his recent promise to marry the woman he loves. You will laugh hysterically at the dilemma in which Mortimer finds himself!

Performance dates for Arsenic & Old Lace are on Saturday, November 12th and Monday, November 14th at 7:00 p.m. with a matinee performance on Sunday, November 13th at 3:00 p.m. All performances will take place at the Northwest Christian Schools’ Upper Campus Chapel located at 5104 East Bernhill Road in Colbert. Tickets are available for $10 each online at nwcs.org/theater or at the door.

The NWCS Middle School is pleased to present the second production;  Helga and the Seven Warriors. This is a hilarious play written by local Spokane author, Ken Boles. Come see the students as Nordic warriors and experience how they defend themselves from ninja squirrels and help Prince Thor and his sidekick save the princess!

Performance dates for Helga and the Seven Warriors will take place on Friday, November 18th and Saturday, November 19th at 7:00 p.m at the Northwest Christian Schools’ Upper Campus Chapel located at 5104 East Bernhill Road in Colbert. Tickets will be available for $10 each online at nwcs.org/theater or at the door.
