A Message from our Dean of Students

Good day and welcome to the start of start of a new school year, which already looks to be packed full of activities: both in and out of class (Fall sports are already underway!). On Wednesday, September 4 we officially start school with a First Day of School Assembly at 8:20, where we get to reconnect, meet old and new friends, and then we’ll be off to our classes. We are very excited for Fall and this a new year to team up with all of you as we walk out our mission of Biblical, Vibrant, and Relational Christian education!

Our school and retreat theme this year is Rooted, based on Colossians 2:7, “Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him.  Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” Colossians 2 is a meaningful passage of scripture, and I look forward to exploring it with all our students and staff this year. We will officially kick-off this theme at our Fall retreat, which starts on Wednesday, September 11 at the school and continues Thursday the 12th when we head out to Silver Lake for a day full of fun, sun, and fellowship. We will have a great time of play, worship, and the Word!

I am also thrilled to be a part of this new season at Northwest Christian High School as God leads us in new directions with some fantastic new faculty – and some changing roles for many of our continuing staff. Please welcome our new teachers Mrs. Jennifer Frankovic (English, Theater, and Yearbook) and Ms. Deborah Sinclair (Art and Home Living). We are thrilled to have these caring and skilled instructors join our faculty!  God has great plans for each and every one of us this year and I thank Him daily that I get to be a part of it.

Mr. Chris Wells
