What a blessing to host our annual Grandparents Day event again this year! During this special day, grandparents spend time visiting classrooms, taking special photos, and joining us as special guests for a music concert. Most of our grandparents attend year after year and it is an event young and young at heart look forward to and enjoy!
The artwork around the gym and on the tables depicted beautiful, colorful spring displays of flowers. A special thank you to Mrs. Baldwin for organizing the event, Mrs. Hagan for the beautiful student artwork and our music teachers: Mr. Schmidt, Mrs. Barker, and Mr. Brown for preparing our students to sing and play instruments as worship and in honor of our grandparents!
Esther and Zesty MacPherson, 4th graders at NWCS, shared the event with
their grandparents who have attended 16 consecutive Grandparents’ Day
events with multiple grandchildren over the years at NWCS.
