Dear NWCS School Families,

As you have been informed at the end of the school year, I will be moving to Arizona to join my family and embark on an adventure that involves serving the Lord in new and exciting ways.

It has truly been the greatest gift these past eighteen years to serve such amazing families and lead this school in pursuit of the mission of a gospel-centered education every day for every student. There are countless sweet moments watching the Lord work in the lives of young people and their families that will never be forgotten. I will greatly miss welcoming new families at the beginning of each school year, the sound of young voices raised in praise during the chapel times, my time at the Cedar Campus, Christmas singalongs, and all of the learning and laughter. What a great privilege to hear the Word of God taught in the classrooms, work alongside such an amazing and talented staff, and see your kids grow over the years, not only academically but also spiritually. There aren’t enough words that capture how PRECIOUS this season of my life has been. Thank you!

I am thrilled to transition both Elementary campuses to the leadership of Mrs. Barb Tusant. Some of you know her and have experienced the blessings of her gifted leadership as a former NWCS teacher and school principal. Barb has been part of the fabric of NWCS culture for over two decades and is excited to take on this new area of ministry after training teachers and students through ELIC missions these past years. She is thrilled to continue to encourage staff, students, and families during the coming year. And I know, you will be “all in” with your support of her.

I look forward to staying connected to the school and serving in an upcoming leadership role with MY360, a missions organization based out of Phoenix. Many of you may remember that this is was our “FAR” missions focus where the students helped me prepare over 250 pairs of shoelaces to take to Mexico. If you have a moment, I’d love for you to click on the link and watch the two-minute video. I’d be so grateful if you would keep me in your prayers that the Lord would use me in this new season to reach lives for His glory. Wherever He leads is always a new adventure!

Thank you all again for such a wonderful and blessed season of my life, your ongoing support for our staff and leaders, and most importantly, for entrusting the greatest treasure, your precious children, to my care. #IAMNWC.

Ani lo (As unto Him),
