NWCS’s fall Theater class is excited for their production Little Women on November 15-17th, 2019. Set during the American Civil War, the play is a dramatic adaptation by Kristin Laurence of Louisa May Alcott’s book for an all-female cast. The story spans one year of Alcott’s novel–one Christmas to the next–and is full of funny, poignant, and heart-warming moments.

The majority of the action is between the four March sisters (Maddie McKinney as Meg, Esther Graham as Jo, Abigail Donnelly as Beth, and Emma Culbertson as Amy) as they face the mis-adventures of growing up and learn that as family, they will always be there for each other even as life continues to change. The cast of sisters is joined by four more outside actresses who play Marmee (Chloe Noller), Hannah (Kenzie Quinn), Aunt March (Adoniah Blair), and Aunt Carroll (Kenzie Quinn).

Please come out and support NWCS’s Theater Department and fall class! You will laugh as the sisters attempt to rehearse a play in their living room, cry as they struggle with the sickness of their sister Beth, and leave with a heart full of hope and joy as the sisters are reunited with their father and mother in the end at Christmas time!
