Northwest Christian Schools recently became a member of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). NWCS high school students competed at the 2017 Northeast Regional Winter Conference at Eastpoint Church, and 20 of them qualified for the state competition April 19-22 at the Davenport Grand Hotel in Spokane.

Qualifying students are: Mary Maystrovich (third place, business law), Grace Ammon (seventh place, digital video production), Courtney Cossette (fourth place, economics and third place, job interviews), Chloe Sweatman (ninth place, economics) Layne Kloetsch (second place, entrepreneurship and third place, marketing), Ryan Ricks (second place, entrepreneurship, fourth place, marketing and second place, securities and investment), Connor Swanson (second place entrepreneurship and seventh place, organizational leadership), Healani Nendel (sixth place, global business), Will Lane (sixth place, global business and fifth place, marketing), Dayoon Kim (sixth place, global business and fifth place, marketing), Micah Henry (fourth place, health care administration), Quinn Dhaenens (tenth place, health care administration), Shiloh Vaughn (sixth place, impromptu speaking and sixth place public speaking), Emma Cox (fourth place, journalism), Jack Ammon (third place, marketing), Bradie Matthews (fifth place, marketing), Josh Seiersen (fourth place, marketing and fourth place sports and entertainment management), Michael Roberts (fourth place, marketing and fourth place, sports and entertainment management), Abigail Lane (fifth place, organizational leadership), Asher Cox (fourth place, sports and entertainment management).
