NWCS Theater Presents in Spring 2026
The cast and crew of 52 students in elementary, junior high, and high school look forward to delighting you with this nostalgic and heartwarming classic story about the four March sisters who are all growing up and trying to discover what’s truly important in life. This beautiful version has not been performed in the Northwest in over twenty years, and we are excited to bring it back to our community.

The overlying philosophy of the Theater Department at Northwest Christian Schools is: We believe we can use the gifts and talents God has given us to glorify Him in all we do. Using these talents is an act of worship ( Colossians 3:23 ). We believe in excellence, integrity, hard work, and total enjoyment of the theatrical process, in other words, FUN!
The Theater department includes many opportunities for students to perform and grow in their acting/singing/dancing skills. In Junior High, grades 7-8 can audition and perform in the fall straight play (non-musical) directed by Christina Hilderbrand. Junior High students can also take Theater as an elective class which has performance opportunities woven into the curriculum. High school students can take Theater as an elective class as well. The spring production is an extra-curricular, musical production directed by Lydia Kinne and open to all student body grades 7 – 12. Both Junior High and High School students can also participate in Improv Club, held at lunches, and audition for the Improv teams, which put on an Improv show at the end of the school year.
