On March 28, Northwest Christian High School celebrated our 2019 Academic Award recipients. We opened our evening inducting 23 new members in to the NWCS chapter of the National Honor Society. These students were nominated and accepted into the Honor Society though commitment to Scholarship, Service, Character and Leadership. We are proud to have these young adults represent our school in such a dynamic way!
We moved through the remainder of the evening honoring our 8 Valedictorians and 3 Salutatorians, Star Students with highest combined GPA and PSAT/SAT scores and students earning individual department awards. Freshman through Senior students were distinguished for educational excellence, recognizing success in the classroom as well as motivation, initiative, integrity, intellectual depth and leadership qualities in English, Fine Arts, Math, Social Studies, Business & Technology, Language and Science. We concluded our evening honoring the II Timothy 2:15 Bible Award recipients. Teachers voted and agreed upon a fine group of students who stand out and make a difference, showing exemplar character through his/her compassion, honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, optimism and loyalty.
We celebrate all these students as they continue to create a positive school environment and serve as an example of hard work and dedication. Congratulations!
