In celebration of the Christmas season, Northwest Christian Schools offers the following concerts for your musical enjoyment! Admission is free, an offering will be taken.
Middle School/High School Band and Choir Concert
Join us for our middle school/high school Christmas concert, “God Bless Us Everyone!” The students will be performing on Thursday, December 10th, at 7 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, 511 West Hastings Rd. The concert will include sacred favorites, such as “For Unto Us a Child is Born” as well as lighter selections such as “Winter Wonderland” and symphonic highlights from Disney’s Frozen.
In preparation for their upcoming Disneyland trip, the bands will be having some Disney fun with songs from Frozen. The band will also be performing in conjunction with the choir with songs from A Christmas Carol and The Chipmunks.
Preschool/Elementary Band and Choir Concert
The younger Northwest Christian students in the Early Learning Preschool (3 years and up) through 5th grade students will be performing on Thursday December 17, at 7:00 p.m at Turning Point Church, 11911 North Division. The theme for the concert is, “Good News, Great Joy!”
The 4th and 5th grade band and choir as well as “Pure Joy,” our elementary select choir, will also be taking part in this special night.
Homeschool Concert
Come join us Thursday, December 17th at 2:20 p.m for “A Homeschool Choral Christmas” at Crossover Church, 16825 N. Newport Highway. The homeschool kindergarten through 6th grade students have explored choral music this fall and will share several selections as a combined choir. The “Royal Ringers” Handbell Choir from Otis Orchards will join as special guests and present several selections.
