On Friday, October 25th, the entire Northwest Christian community was invited to the Crusader Alumni Football Game. To start the evening off, the Board of Regents and Cru Club volunteers held a tailgate party. Free burgers, hot dogs and chips were served. It was a wonderful evening that included corn hole, facepainting, pom poms, and fellowship with others. Alumni got into the game for free and received a gift when they visited the alumni table, which was manned by familiar NWCS staff and alums. During halftime, 16 middle school girls with the help of the Crusader cheer team, put on a “vintage athletic uniform” fashion show. It was a fun trip down memory lane.
Saturday, October 26th was packed with events, starting with an Exclusive Brunch with Eric Metaxas. A small audience enjoyed a brunch at the Spokane Club. After a short speech, Mr. Metaxas took questions from the guests. Guests had an opportunity to meet Mr. Metaxas as well as get their books signed.
