A parent of one of our Cedar students currently attends Spokane Community College (SCC) and is taking a science class. She invited several SCC classmates to join her and bring microscopes to our Cedar Campus! Our students were taught how to create slides and use the microscopes to view those slides.
While we have the opportunity to observe and learn about God’s creations on a daily basis, it was such a blessing to take a look at some of His creation up really close! Students looked at strawberries, tiny worms, and even their own hands under the microscopes! Students have been learning how to make observations and conclusions like scientists and they were able to do just that with this exciting, hands-on lesson!
Cedar students gather round to look at objects up close in the microscopes. Making slides for the microscopes!
