After great success last year, Northwest Christian Schools Cedar Campus’ Elementary and Preschool has started their second Read-a-thon! The Read-a-thon serves as more than just a fundraiser as it promotes a month of reading! Students are challenged to find pledges from their family members and friends. Pledgers can either donate a set amount or choose to pay for pages read or even minutes read as an incentive for students to read. Students also keep track of reading the Bible in the classroom to earn a classroom treat from their teachers.
At the end of the Read-a-thon students will celebrate their reading success with their classrooms. The K-2 class will enjoy a celebration with their 3rd grade reading buddies from the Colbert campus!
