At Northwest Christian Schools, all history is living because we serve the living God (Mark 12:27, Hebrews 12:22). Age to age He is the same! How wonderful to celebrate His providence in our nation’s history, as fifth-graders recently did in their annual Living History Museum. Sixty-one students in colonial costumes brought stories to life of real men and women from a variety of perspectives of the American Revolution.
We’ve been hosting a ‘wax museum’ event since the late 1990’s. Mrs. Tusant started it and our own Art teacher Rebecca Lamb took part when she attended NWC in 5th Grade. The history of the USA is a good story, a bad story, and a hopeful story.  Our school cares about history and evaluating it from a Biblical perspective. Kids love this project!
