Kindergarten and first grade students in Mrs. Ginder’s class at our Cedar Campus completed mammal reports this spring. Students had the opportunity to choose a specific mammal and then learned basic skills needed to research and put together a report. All students researched their mammals, created a poster to share, and presented information as an expert on that animal. First grade students went a step further and wrote a report as well.

Students were able to celebrate their project and continue to learn about some of their favorite mammals by visiting Cat Tails on a field trip. To make the field trip even more special, Cedar’s preschool classes joined the Elementary class on an “all Cedar school” field trip!

Their Cat Tails trip all together was one that they will all remember for a long time to come!
