The Lord is good to NWC by bringing individuals into our community who personally and professionally uphold a Biblical worldview. Mr. Loran Graham, a parent of twins who attend the NWC Preschool Program and spouse of NWC Alum Kjirstin (Strandy) (‘98), also serves on our NWCS Foundation Planned Giving Team. Mr. Graham is a proponent of Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI).
Recently in an interview with the Spokesman Review Graham explains the principles of BRI: “The idea is that you look at what activities, products or services a company provides and what impact that has on others in society. If a company has caused physical or mental harm by exploiting a gambling addiction, for example, then that’s not a company a Christian should invest in.” SR, February 8, 2015.
