High school students in NWC’s Home Living class have been hard at work making “PICC Pal” pillows for Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital patients. The pillows are meant to go between the child’s skin and their PICC line. NWC students and their Home Living teacher, Lisa Greer, will deliver them to the patients on Wednesday December 2nd at 12:00pm.
The students have made them in the shapes of different animals and objects. The project is meant for NWC students to learn to connect with people in the community. The class is planning to continue to do other similar projects in the future.
