Students from the Northwest Christian Homeschool Program are excited to present “An Evening of the Arts,” Monday, April 25th, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Northwest Christian Upper Campus Activity Center.

The 2016 event has a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) emphasis to showcase the theme: Strengthening our Faith. This inspiring evening will feature science, technology, engineering, art and math through original research projects by our science students, design projects by NWC Homeschool geometry students, data work by the statistics team and secondary artwork focusing on modern art and graphic design. Visitors can browse through the elementary art and project gallery.  An exciting robotic battle demonstration, oral recitations and multi-class performances are event highlights.

There are 90 students currently enrolled in the Northwest Christian Homeschool Program. Students from kindergarten to 6th grade meet at Crossover Church for a weekly hands-on enrichment day that includes music, art, PE and Spanish. History, science and writing curriculum guide the learning day. Students in grade 7-12 attend academic classes at Crossover Church leading to a NWCS Homeschool Extension Diploma, and may participate in athletics and activities at Northwest Christian Schools.
