The play takes a look at relationships, challenging different ways of thinking and presents a hilarious definition of what a family means. The students have worked hard to develop outstanding,energetic characters.
Come along as sweet-natured Alice Sycamore (Irene Huseland) falls for banker’s son Tony Kirby (Baz Carter). When she invites her snooty prospective in-laws to dinner to give their blessing to the relationship, Alice’s peculiar extended family – including philosophical grandfather Martin Vanderhof (Gage Cadwallader), quirky fledgling ballerina sister, Essie (Faith McConnell) and fireworks enthusiast father, Paul (Colby Raver) – might be too eccentric for the Kirbys.
