LT Bonnie Alford (’10) passed her written & oral exams for the Prospective Nuclear Engineering Officer Course in Washington, D.C. She is currently assigned to the USS John C. Stennis aircraft carrier as a nuclear engineering officer, but has spent the past 2 months studying intensely for this exam. This is the last of several steps required for nuclear engineering officers in the Navy to be qualified in their jobs.
