The Northwest Kindergarten class recently finished our first book study of the year with a fun day of gingerbread cooking baking.  After reading many different versions of the classic story, we were ready to make our own gingerbread men.  We were careful to decorate them and to keep the oven door shut the whole time they were baking,  BUT our gingerbread men escaped our classroom while we were at recess! We had to follow the crumbs to find them before they escaped from the school!  Luckily Mr. Brown, Mrs. Stuhr, and Mrs. Potter helped us find our gingerbread men – Mrs. Tusant was keeping them safe in her office!

We prayed together and talked about how much we are learning and all the fun we are having in kindergarten and then headed back to class to enjoy our cookies!  It was a great day!
