David Judson Bridge, Class of 1952, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019, at the age of 84 in Cottonwood, Arizona. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara (Meyers) Bridge, Class of 1951; as well as his son and daughter-in-law Douglas and Susan Bridge; sister Mary (Bridge) Martin, Class of 1960, and brother-in-law Mike Martin; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. David told us in 2015 that he and Barbara had been singing in church choirs ever since singing at Northwest Christian under Dr. Eugene Fadel. He also shared at that time, “God has been so good to us! We both attended, all those years ago, the first day NWC opened at Fourth Memorial Church.” David went on to attend Biola University and graduated from Whitworth College in 1965. He taught 6th grade in Garden Grove, California for 34 years before retiring to Arizona.
